Cancellation policy

1. Purpose

This Cancellation Policy outlines the strict time-bound cancellation windows for orders. Given the perishable nature of agricultural produce, cancellations are only permitted within limited timeframes.

2. Cancellation by Buyers

5-Hour Cancellation Window

Time Window: Within 5 hours of order confirmation

Process: Cancel directly from "My Orders" page

Full Refund: 100% of order amount (platform fees non-refundable)

Status: "Cancelled by Buyer - Within Window"

7-Hour Cancellation Window (Partial Refund)

Time Window: 2 hours after the 5-hour window (i.e., up to 7 hours from order confirmation)

Conditions: Must be within 2 hours of 5-hour deadline

Partial Refund: 90% of order amount

Deduction: 10% platform processing fees

Status: "Cancelled by Buyer - Late Window"

No Cancellation After 7 Hours

After 7 hours from order confirmation: NO CANCELLATION

NO REFUND available

NO REPLACEMENT policy

Order proceeds to fulfillment

3. Cancellation by Sellers

Sellers must fulfill all accepted orders

Seller-initiated cancellations subject to 25% penalty

Valid only for force majeure with proof

4. Cancellation Process


BUYER CANCEL → "My Orders" → Select Order → "Cancel Order" → Confirm

Check timestamp: 

Within 5 hrs → 100% refund (minus platform fees)

 5-7 hrs → 90% refund  

 After 7 hrs → NO CANCELLATION

5. Refund Processing

6. Legal Notice

CRITICAL: Once seller accepts order, buyer is committed to purchase. After 7 hours from order confirmation:

NO CANCELLATION

NO REFUND

NO REPLACEMENT

NO EXCEPTIONS

This policy protects farmers from harvest planning losses and logistics commitments.
